Eva slowly settles into new home

Well, it's been a week since I moved in with my new companion Sammy and his dad Alistair. Despite my friendliness Sammy's been a little bit distant but I think it's more shyness than anything - he's not very used to girls, it seems.

Alistair's been really nice to me, and his friend Liselle, who's been staying at his, has been feeding me raw shredded beef, which I'm very grateful for. But Alistair tells me that when Liselle goes, that'll be it, so I'd better start getting used to biscuits. I'll have to work on him.

I miss Anson Road - hello Gertrud - but, much as I love my kittens, I'm very pleased that they - or rather I - have fled the nest and I can have my freedom back.

Right, I'm going to get Alistair to come and proof-read this post but then I must go - I have a busy afternoon ahead of me, involving mooching, squawking, sleeping and scratching.

Bye!

Eva Paws is retiring

Alistair came to meet Eva on the weekend and she decided she liked him very much. Once Eva's regained some weight, she'll move in with Alistair and Sammy. She'll continue to be a Norf Lahndon Gearl!

Feeding frenzie at Eva Paw's den.

Paw's kittens love their food, so much so that they have to sit in it! They are growing well now and we have some real beauties. More photos to follow soon on their own individual blogs.

Ollie back with Mum Tikki

Eva didn't have enough milk, so Ollie is back with his own family. Amazingly, no-one complained with all the back and forth!

Ollie, Tikki' Boy, is being fostered by Eva Paws

Tikki had 7 kittens a few hours after Eva Paws had hers. To reduce the strain on Tikki, Eva has graciously accepted Ollie as a foster son. Ollie is straight footed, long-haired and with a show tail - so we can't confuse him with any of Eva's own, as they are all long-tailed and poly footed :-).

Who's a clever girl! Paws has had babies!

She's had 5 although one was left uncleaned. We managed to revive him/her and hope there is nothing more seriously wrong .... I think we have 4 short hairs and one long hair. Gorgeous colours and very spotted. All have longer tails - wonderful, as I was hoping to avoid mum's rumpy rear!
