Once Plum had managed to count all the kittens, she settled down nicely in the new Cat Palace. Here she is feeding her own and Rasberi's kittens.

All eight of them in that pile! We've got 5 boys and 3 girls. A couple of the boys are absolutely massive and two have show tails. All seem to have Bobby's fabulous mush, but time will tell.

Plum's June litter - gorgeous spots and short tails

Plum adores being a mum and she is very good at it. She also loves Toby and decided she would find a way into his shag palace. Hence this litter of five gorgeous fat little lumps. The previous litter from this same breeding has grown into gorgeous looking Pixie Bobs with amazing temperaments - all of them! You can see their blogs and photos of them by clicking on the little photos in the side panel on the right.

Plum clearly thinks her babies are too soft

She thinks they need to be taught how to hunt. She regularly brings samples, such as pens, corks, bits of feather and paper, calls them to her and looks at the prey: see, this is how you do it!

They don't seem to be interested at all! Teenagers....

Surely Plum, aren't they far too old for this now!

Plum's brood now 3 weeks old - gorgeous faces and colors

The rat pack is now shakily walking around. Looks like we have mums and dad's colourings in there and the faces are starting to develop their own characteristics. Individual photos coming soon!

Pictures of the daddy of Plum's January litter

This is A Big Bad Boy du Farwest, the sire of the litter. We call him Toby. He is 13 inches to the shoulder and weighs 8-9kg. He is stunning and I hope his kittens will take after him as much as after their gorgeous mum.

The blond kittens in this litter have amazing spots and a really unusal colouring. I think they'll be that gorgeous rufus colour that's so difficult to get. Some amazing faces in there, and you can already tell that some of them have their dad's fabulous muzzle.

Baby Plums have arrived!

This lot is utterly amazing. Dad Toby (aka A Big Bad Boy du Farwest) has the most amazing, bobcat like coat, and at least two of the babies have inherited it, but also have inherited mum's strawberry tones! All but one of the 6 kittens sofar have show length tails. What an amazing litter! Go Plum!

Plum has moved into the "birthing room" with Mum Bucky. This is Plum's first litter and we are hoping that Bucky will keep her calm and help her when the time comes. Sire of this litter is Toby aka A Big Bad Boy du FarWest.

Today, Plum and Toby (A Big Bad Boy), managed to get it together. She's still pretending to complain, but letting him breed her, nevertheless. How exciting. Plum and Toby's babies should be stunning, and if all goes well, we should have babies from them at the end of January. Fingers crossed ...

Rascal wasn't a success with prickly virgin Plum. Meanwhile, though, Toby (A Big Bad Boy) has arrived. At least she is only growling and playing hard to get. Maybe she'll warm to him a bit more!
