Jenkins has competition!

Nala had kittens yesterday!

Some stunners in there, I'm sure. This is a repeat breading, which previously produced Jenkins. This litter has 3 show-tailed boys and a longtailed girl. Jenkins, watch out!

A good fight usually clears the air - and what strange noises they make

Nala and Tikki have had to fight it out. They spend a day terrorizing eachother and now everything is fine! Unfortunately, you can't see much in the video, but listen to the noises. Nala is making a very strange gurgeling noise which I'm sure does not come from her domesticated side!

Nala's brood now 9 weeks old. A very consistent look from this litter....

There are some very bobcatty faces in this litter from Nala. And they have the most gorgeous temperaments. Very social and very gregarious already!

Nala and her new borns.

Can't see much yet, they are only a couple of days old. These kittens should be interest. Both mum and dad have unusually strong muzzles. So watch this space.
 

New litter! Nala had 5 kittens today!

They are all long-haired, one with a very short tail and 4 with long or 3/4 length tails. More info to follow.

It definitely wasn't love at first sight.

This is Nala on first meeting Toby. She was absolutely horrible to him. It took quite a few weeks until we got to stage two. Now she is inseparable from Toby and they are definitely in love.
 
 
 

Nala's Ansonroad - look face.

It's the way the eyes are set low. They look wild and scary, rather than miserable and sad, which is the look of many of the Pixie Bobs today. She also has that full, short but broad rounded muzzle, very stront chin and deep jaw. If only her tail was longer, she'd kick .... in the shows.
