the kittens are growing well....

An update from the nursery - I've sent some individual pics to Gertrud so please check out their own galleries :o)

I've been away for a week on holiday and when I left, the kittens had finally just got out of their cage, all wobbly and uncoordinated and were staggering around the dining room. I returned yesterday and they are running, jumping, pouncing, climbing AND eating!! Oh yes, our kittens are now tucking into their Eagle Pack with their Mum and really only feed from her 2-3 times a day :o) We're working on house training them now too :o)

A bit about our kittens:
Litil Kartafla (Spud) is the smallest girl but still no titch - she weighed in today at 596g. Spud is THE MOST curious, she's always out first, when the others settle down for a sleep she pounces on them to wake them up. Trying to take photos of her is a nightmare cos she moves CONSTANTLY. She's a beautiful little girl though and extremely friendly.

Kisa (Kizzy) is the next biggest girl (632g today), straight foot and a total teddy bear! She's got chunky legs and a chunky body and she puts her head on one side to examine you carefully. Kizzy loves cuddles already and is the most likely to try to climb onto your lap - even at 5 weeks. I think she may be my favourite ;o) Her markings are also stunning - and she's a bit of a ginger nut with her beautiful rufus tones.

Ylfa (Elfie) is the biggest girl (638g today) and I think she looks a lot like the pictures of her Mum at the same age. Wide set big ears with lovely long ear tips and big poly front feet. Ylfa is more cautious than her sisters - but I think she's clever! She waits to see how much trouble they get into by climbing up speaker fronts (Kisa got stuck today!), playing with the water in the water bowl and attempting to eat cat litter and then decides whether or not to follow suit!!

Pall Oskar is the smaller of the two boys at 644g today. I think he's stunning! The boys tend to follow the girls at the moment but Oskar is so happy to have a bit of fuss and he is sooooo capable phsyically now - he's mastered the jump, pounce and run!

Gunnar (Dave!) is the biggest kitten at 665g and he's a stunner :o) I think he may end up being a real chip of his Daddy's block and he has his Dad's laid back nature too.

All 5 kittens are characterful, gorgeous markings and will make great additions to any household - fun, relaxed, curious and a joy to look at - check out their pics and enjoy :o)
